Hi all, today I decided to sign up for the 62 mile challenge in October that has been created to walk with your dog.
Being a new Dog Mum, I have obviously jumped at this opportunity.
I am finding it very difficult since starting the Oestrogen Blockers (Anastrazole) to do any exercise as my body aches from top to toe, but Jet makes me walk, and that 15 minutes walk does me the world of good, for my mental health and physically, however tired I may be after.
I have set up my page, which is through Facebook, and although I don't use Facebook, it is the only way of donating.
I have set a target of £150!!! a small amount in comparison to what I have just raised for UHDB Burton & Derby Hospital..
So lets do this... please click to donate.
I will be walking 1 mile of a morning and 1 mile of an evening each day with Jet as she will be just over 4 months old, and guidelines advise 20 minutes, twice a day.
I will be tracking our walk and adding a link on here.
I am looking forward to raising money for Cancer Research with the help of Jet..
Thank you all for your support so far, my journey has been a difficult one and its not over yet.. recovery is the next step!
