Time! A Year has gone....

Where has the time gone?

My son recently laughed that on my gravestone, he will have written "I just haven't got time" as there is always something else to do.

I feel I am still a busy mom of four although two of them no longer live here.

Working full time at Pandora, looking after our home, and the trials and tribulations of teenagers take up a lot of my (our) time.

However, the past year has flown by hasn't it? I retuned back to Pandora full time which has been strange as the dynamics very much changed there, but this is how the year of 2022 planned out for me...

In May 2022, My brother married Lucy, his best friend and soulmate.

Ian, I am so happy that you found Lucy, it is clear to everyone that she is your missing puzzle piece.

I wish you all the happiness in the world along with health..

Thank you for asking me to be your witness, and thank you for all you have done, for myself, Phil and the family..

I love you both with all my heart...

In June we surprised my parents and my brother and his wife in Cyprus .

Phil had worked so hard in Cyprus to pay for all of the family to be there and to make memories for us all.

We had an amazing time and I even went paragliding!!

July 2022

Phil & I were invited to Lisa's 50th Birthday Party in London.

I met Lisa when she reached out to me through Instagram, as she had also been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

Lisa's 50th was beautiful and emotional.. as she also renewed her vows to Allan.

Sadly Lisa passed away on the 29 September 2022. She will be sadly missed by all.

I will miss our chats Lisa.. my love Always xx

Also in July, Myself and Ben attended the reception evening of my friends wedding, (Phil was in Cyprus)

Tracey who married her soulmate Jason.

Thank you for inviting us Tracey & Jason you looked stunning my warrior friend..

Love Always xx

20th August 2022.

Happy Anniversary to us!

21 Years... what a journey it has been so far..

Phil, you are my best friend, soulmate, my everything.

We have been there for each other through the good, bad and the ugly and we stand strong TOGETHER.. we can get through anything that life throws at us.. you are my everything..

In September 2022,

We lost my Grandad Orton,

Grandad was such a proud man. It was sad to watch him when he was poorly..

He passed away in his sleep.. it still doesn't seem real that his not here..

RIP Grandad Orton..

Love you Forever & Always

In September we were invited to our friends Wedding - Bobby & Jade, and oh my... what a wedding it was! it was in the most idyllic setting and the happy couple enjoyed every minute, so did their guests.. it was an honour to be invited and a memory that will last a lifetime, and we will be forever grateful to you and your family Bobby for what they did for us. Phil and I wish you all the happiness in the world for the future but more importantly your health too, as we know how important that is.. Love Always.

Our Daughter Paris ....18!!!

How did this happen?

Time flies, our baby girl is now 18.

Paris, the world is your oyster.

You are stronger than you know,

You know what you want and what you don't want.. and that's what we love about you.

You've now found your James Bond.. go make some memories.

Love you Always Mom & Dad xx

My 50th!!!!

If you had asked me the question in 2019, or early 2020 about myself being 50, I was absolutely dreading it! who after all wants to be 50? The answer to that question now is " I Do"

I feel thankful, grateful and happy to be still here... watch my family grow, watch them find happiness in new relationships they have, its what every mom wants to watch..

We sometimes take things for granted and its not until they can be all taken away from us, we realise the importance of life.

I had the best birthday, Phil and the family spoilt me rotten, I had meals out and a trip to Liverpool that I will never forget, Phil treated me like a princess and those memories I will cherish..

The Pandora family also helped me celebrate my birthday with this beautiful cake.. and I have afternoon tea booked for Weston Hall which I will visit in the New Year, thank you girls for everything you do.

December 2022

Another year has passed, and to end that year, it cant get better than having the family altogether,

I love each and every one of you, you are all different, you all have different dreams.. you can do anything you put your mind too.

Your Dad, is a great role model, level headed, loving, caring man and I am only grateful I have him by my side to guide and watch you all.

Love you all Mom.xxx
